Kirgidis Apostolos, born November 13, 1968 in Düren, is a Greek multi-instrumentalist and performer of mainly Greek music of any genre. He masters the instruments: Bouzouki, Clarinet, Guitar, Bass, Oud as well as various traditional percussion instruments. He brings experience and openness to cultural diversity through his numerous performances at festivals, events and functions in various European countries, including Greece, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, etc.
Coming from a musicals family, he received his first instrument, the mandolin,from his father at the age of 5. From the age of six he began to learn the bouzouki. At the age of 8 he was already performing at various events together with his sister and father, who founded the band „Aidonia“ (1976 - 1984). Together with his sister he composed and recorded the first single in 1978 at age of 10. In the second single, produced in 1982 he played the bouzouki as a solo instrument as well as the rhythmic part with the bass and guitar.
In the following years he performed as a soloist in various festivals, events and locations in Greece and Germany. In 1991 he completed his musical repertoire with the clarinet, which is now his main instrument along with the bouzouki. Here he dedicated himself again especially to the traditional Greek music.
In 1997 he joined the group „Akroama“ (1997 -2017) with which he performed different genres such as pop, rock, folklore and others. With the band he participated in various festivals such as „Forum of Cultures“, „Circle of Life“ and performances of Greek traditional dances. In recent years, he participates again in various festivals and venues as a soloist.
